About Toyo Tires

In January 2019, the company changed its name to Toyo Tire Corporation, reflecting the fact that the business has evolved over its history into a key player in the mobility business. The highly focused company is one of the world’s leading tire manufacturers with subsidiaries or agents in over 120 countries around the world. Founded in 1945, the business currently employs around 12.000 people and has its group Headquarters in Itami, Japan. Business activities of the group are based on two core competences of tires and automotive technology.

In 2005, Toyo Tire Europe GmbH was established as the European Headquarters of the group. Having been present in Europe for over 30 years at this point, the new corporate structure allowed for the development of stronger, co-ordinated sales and marketing policies across the region and increased synergies with the parent company in Japan.

TOYO TIRES core business is the development, production and marketing of high-quality, high performance tires. The multifaceted range of products includes summer and winter car, 4x4 and SUV tires as well as tires for vans and light trucks.
